This is a powerful and comprehensive video converter that supports virtually all known video formats and that includes a lot of extra tools and multiple video editing functions. The program supports batch conversion and is capable to extract the audio stream from your video files, too. Simple audio conversion is also supported by Video Converter Factory Pro.
The program offers a simple and intuitive user interface, though it is a bit cold and uncolored. As most video converters, the first step you need to take is adding your source video and/or audio files. Of course, you can add all the source files you want to convert at once. Besides, you can preview any source file thanks to the video player included. Then you need to select the output format from a really wide variety of presets available. The program includes presets for all the well-known audio and video formats, such as AVI, MPG, MP4, WMV, MOV, 3GP, MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, FLAC, and M4A, as well as for specific brands and models of portable devices, such as Apple, Samsung, Nokia, and BlackBerry phones, and some gaming consoles. The program supports even the latest models of portable devices, such as Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5S.
Whatever output format or preset you select, you can always customize all its detailed settings, such as video resolution, its bit rate, and its aspect ratio, as well as the audio sample rate and the volume level. Before starting the conversion process, you can also apply any of the available editing functions to any of your source video files individually. These functions include clipping, cropping and several multiple effects, such as grayscale, pencil drawing, embossing and mosaic. You can also use the program to merge several videos into a single one, which is also done in a separate window. Besides, you can select your preferred audio and subtitle streams, if more than one are available in any of your source files.
Finally, I have to say that the program provides fast and high-quality conversion results. WonderFox Soft offers zero quality loss in video conversion operations, which I would say is fairly true. As a disadvantage, the program does not allow you to assign a different output profile to each source file.
